Live In Chicagoland coming soon!!!
So much news...where to start! We are way over due on updating the News page! We have been signed to play at more festivals and rodeos and the count keeps growing and growing.
The big news for us right now is the release of "Live In Chicagoland" which we are busting our chops to have ready by the time the Heyworth Heydays Festival hits on May 17th. It's a high energy show...you can tell that the boys were pumped to be playing in the Chicago area...it's a fun disc!
This Friday night we will be opening for nashville recording star David Allan Coe. His shows aren't for the faint at heart..probably our stage time will be a little over an hour. I guarantee you there will be shoulder to shoulder people inside The Last Lap..it will be a loud, rockin' party for sure!
To follow the band this summer you are going to have to purchase a map! We have signed deals in Crawfordsville Indiana, Mazon Illinois, Wilmington Illinois, Onarga, Chenoa, Heyworth, LeRoy, Cissna Park, McLean, Morris...the list of town festivals goes on and on. Also in the works is the possibility of us performing at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in August for MDA. That would be a gig in front of 7,000 plus people!
Lastly, we have window clings ready that will be for sale this weekend...we will have photos up on the web site soon...they look great! So keep checking back on the web site for news on the new cd, to check out our new window clings, and we have women's tank tops in yellow and purple that will be for sale shortly.
Chicago Area Gig a Major Success!!
The Cattle Bandits trip to Good Times Pub in Elmhurt Illinois was a major success. Not only did we have a great time but the sound was amazing. The sound company that works with the Good Times Pub made a cd recording of the gig. They will be selling the cd at the Pub and we will have some with us in the near future. The band is excited about the recording and about performing more in the Chicagoland area. What a great weekend! This weekend we invite all of our northern fans to take a trip to Bloomington on Friday night at the Last Lap...big dance floor and nice people. If you can't make it to the Lap on Friday we will be in Morris on Saturday at our very first gig at the Morris Holiday Inn...here comes another great Cattle Bandit weekend!
Cattle Bandits Heading To Chicagoland!!
We have just signed a deal with Good Times Pub in Elmhurst Illinois for our first date in the greater Chicagoland area. On March 23rd we'll take the stage at this large facility just 15 minutes from downtown Chicago. During the week of the gig the largest country music station in Chicago, US99 will be advertising Cattle Bandits. Come and join us up north for a wild gig outside the Windy City!!
New Dates Rolling In...
This week we signed deals with the Holiday Inn in Morris Illinois for March 31st and performing outside at the Times Past Inn Patio Party in Bloomington Illinois on May 24th. The Holiday Inn has just started having bands. We look forward to seeing some of our fans from the Grundy County Fair there...it should be a blast. We played at the last outdoor party in '06 for the Times Past Inn Patio Party and it was awesome!! You can get some great food (eat inside or outside) and then party in the back parking lot under a huge tent. You'll want to put this date down on your calendar!
